In order to serve our customers now and in the future, the Carroll County Water Authority has spent the last two years studying alternative water sources that will help meet the needs of our county for the next 50 years. A historic drought and an increasing population make this important project even more necessary.
A team of experts has come up with four reservoir alternatives to help meet the long-term needs of our county. The project would be built in phases over many years. A new reservoir would require a sizable investment, but it is an investment we must make to keep our county strong for our children and grandchildren.
