Freezing Weather and Your Water Pipes
According to This Old House, frozen pipes pose several risks to homeowners, such as the following:
> Water supply disruption and inconvenience
> Potential flooding when pipes thaw
> Costly water damage to walls, floors, and belongings
> Expensive repairs or replacements of damaged pipes

Please be aware that CCWA is not responsible for frozen or damaged pipes on the customer's side of the water meter (i.e. on private property).
Carroll County Water Authority bills are due on the 10th of each month.

To report an emergency, such as a water main break, call 770.832.1277, select Option 2, and listen to the prompts.
2024 Water and Sewer Rate Adjustment
CCWA's water and sewer rate increase will become effective on the bills received after December 1, 2024. That billing cycle is reflective of water and sewer consumption for the service period from late October through late November. The service period dates will vary depending on your geographical area; the specific service period dates can be found on your bill.

Annual fishing permits and boat decals for 2025 are available at the CCWA main office Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. 2024 permits and decals remain valid through December 31, 2024.
